Scholarship Rules and Requirements
· Scholarships are open to any child
participating in an arts program with our participation community
partners.
· Scholarships are awarded by an
independent committee with all the personal information removed from the
application.
· Scholarships are awarded up to a maximum of $750.00
per calendar year. (Starting at the beginning of the month of the
returned signed approval until December 31 of that year)
· Scholarship amounts vary by program
applied for. Each program has the maximum percentage of the total amount to be
paid in the program description.
· Annual scholarships can be applied to
any approved scholarship program with the maximum amount applied limited to the
amount offered as an individual scholarship.
· A scholarship recipient’s Primary Guardian must sign and return the award
letter acknowledging the terms and conditions.
· This scholarship requires that the
recipient participate in all rehearsals and activities required by the
directors.
· If the scholarship recipient leaves
for any reason other than illness, it will be the responsibility
of you, the Primary Guardian, to reimburse the scholarship fund for the
amount which has already been paid to the community partner.
· Failure to reimburse the Scholarship
Fund will result in your child no longer being eligible to
receive scholarship money until the original amount is repaid.
