SALLY MARTIN PRIESTER has been a working arts administrator and performer for all
her life.
A graduate of Agnes Scott College Ms. Priester attended the
University of Georgia for post graduate studies in Technical Theatre &
Administrative Arts. Ms. Priester worked
in the Atlanta area for most of her career, working in the A&R recording
business, advising many Atlanta and Southeastern theater and opera companies,
and singing and doing voice-over work for corporations.
Ms. Priester has directed and coached over 200 musicals and
plays in the Southeast region, been a staff singer with churches in Atlanta,
Chicago, and New York and taught high school and college theater courses while
raising her family.
Ms. Priester established an acapella vocal ensemble while
living in Atlanta - The Atlanta Notables, a group which was dedicated to
performing and recording original music for theater.
Ms. Priester lived in upstate New York for ten years, working
with local non-profits before retiring in Huntsville Alabama.
Currently Ms. Priester serves as the Administrative Director
of the Huntsville Community Chorus Association in Huntsville and
also works as a freelance grant writer for not-for-profit music and
theater organizations in North Alabama.
