Jeffrey
Phillips
Raised
in Greenwich Connecticut, graduated from Greenwich High School, received a Bachelor
of Arts degree in Theater from Bard College
Mr. Phillips has always had a passion in life for children, and family involvement. Together they formed
the foundation of his future.
Mr. Phillips has worked with clients
of all ages, ethnicities and socio-economic backgrounds for over 20 years; within schools, community organizations, hospitals,
mental health, as well as chemical dependency and Outreach in the streets Youth
Ministries.
In West Palm Beach Florida Mr.
Phillips worked for (DATA) Drug Abuse Treatment Association, as a Prevention
Specialist, (TASC) Treatment Alternative to Street Crime, (JSP) Juvenile
Services Program, Program Director for a Boys Residential Shelter.
In Los Angeles California, Mr.
Phillips worked for two high profile treatment facilities: Daniel Freeman’s
Hospital in Marina Del Rey (Exodus) and Promises Treatment Facility, receiving
numerous acknowledgments for my service.
Mr. Phillips moved to Minnesota where he
enjoyed one of his greatest career highs.
Mr. Phillips was a member of the Minnesota State Youth Council,
Minneapolis Public Schools Drug Advisory Council and also
served as a member of the Minnesota Governor’s Hate Crime Initiative.
Mr. Phillips also worked for the
Nationally known African American Family Services (I.B.C.A.). Institute on
Black Chemical Abuse as a Prevention Specialist, lecturing and doing seminars
for the schools and community.
Mr. Phillips has also spent time
working in a hospital setting at Fairview University Medical Center, in Child
Adolescent Behavioral Services, mental and chemical health, where he received
accolades for outstanding services to clients and their families.
Mr. Phillips was also the co-creator
of a violence prevention program introduced to the Ramsey County Juvenile
Corrections, Boys Totem Town, St. Paul Minnesota.
